A French court ruled that the oil and gas giant had misled the public "by overstating its climate pledges, in what activists said was the first such ruling worldwide against a major oil company for climate misinformation." That's 0.002% when stated against their daily 2024 revenue. 0.002% doesn't sound like a lot. That's a very small number for what should be a big message to the industry!
